Wat Phra Kaeo

Wat Phra Kaeo the most impressive sight in Bangkok is undoubtedly the Grand Palace. Construction began in 1782, the year has been in Bangkok, Wat Phra Kaeo the capital of the Kingdom of Siam. The complex consists of more than 100 buildings and covers an area of more than 200,000 square meters. The palace area is surrounded by a nearly two kilometres long wall and resembles a city within a city.
